They looted ‘fifteen times’ of what our economy dreams of becoming today—from dregs to gems, they took it all; they left our ‘trad industry’ in shambles, we couldn’t help it, alas, in their court was the ball!
An ‘Independent India’ was born this day—but it was desperate, drained, and divided; the state in which we found it, luckily, was destined to grow just One-Sided—provided it stood united!
They left us in poverty and expected us to die of hunger, but to their horrid amazement, they never knew; they underestimated our desperation for a Revolution, and we had–Green, White and Blue!

We tend to overlook it all, you see, for there are still some wrongs that are not right; remember to count our blessings, my friends, for together we stand we are still up for a handsome fight!
Mind you, no ‘success story’ has ever been written without sufficient hits & trials; many drafts of India’s ‘tryst with destiny’ have found their way to the garbage bin in order to have a ‘script’ that’s penultimate and final…
Remember, that this is the land of Bharat Ratna, Vibhushan, Bhushan, and remarkable Padma Shri; India has been striving hard ever since to break the bondage of mediocrity and excel in the true sense to be truly free…
The then India, sadly, could neither read nor write but now boasts of the biggest talent pool; nothing can stop this ‘India@75’ from rising, you see, who holds today the ‘sharper pens’ and ‘efficient tools’…
